Virginia Gapski was born in Cascavel, Brazil, in 1994. She received her Esculpture Bachelor's degree from Paraná State University in 2023, where she also completed her Master of Arts in 2025. She has already participated in various exhibitions, including 'Nós' at the Ponto de Fuga Gallery in Curitiba, Brazil, and 'Vórtice' at the Embap (Paraná State University) in Curitiba, Brazil. In 2025, She was awarded a Thomas Rumble Fellowship and left Brazil to pursue an MFA at Wayne State University. She currently lives in Detroit, Michigan, where she is seeking to deepen her artistic research into medical images and textile arts.
